She assessed national security threats and conducted classified inquiries into suspect foreign agents. Asha obtained experience as a FBI agent for interrogation, electronic surveillance and interviewing techniques. Asha is a graduate of the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and was given an Fulbright to study constitution reform in Bogota. She received her law degree at Yale Law School. There, she was the Coker Fellow for Constitutional Law. In addition to this, she was employed as a clerk at the Office of Judge Juan R. Torruella of U.S. Court of Appeals First Circuit San Juan Puerto Rico. She was admitted to the State Bars of New York and Connecticut in 2003. Asha is a frequent writer for ABC News and has written Op-eds in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post. Asha is an editor on the board of Just Security and a member of the Council of Foreign Relations.
