Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. She won the most awards for her roles as Layla Grant and Claudia Shepard as well for her roles in Nashville (2012). She was the lead character Jerrica Jem benton in the 2015 film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples, was raised on Lake Mary Florida. She has a younger sister Ally. Aubrey performed at The Orlando Repertory Theatre in her young age for about 10 years. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School and was named valedictory for students of the 2012 class when she completed her studies. Harvard University accepted her but accepted her entry two times in order to take on the role she played in Nashville. Peeples was a guest on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and had a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). She was in two made-for-television movies: Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She played Layla Grant, a major role in the Nashville second season of the drama. In 2019 Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder in an interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples on September 14, 2014, as being one of the top American young actors.
